FCA Challenge 5K Virtual

Run-Bike-Prayer Walk

What is it?

5K Run/Bike/Prayer Walk to Raise Funds for East Volusia-Flagler FCA.
  • Run/Bike/Walk wherever you are
  • Can be completed all in the same day or over 2 or more days
  • To be completed between Saturday, July 11th and Saturday, July 25th (15-day period)
  • Participant can run, bike or walk or a combination of the three
  • Can be completed on a treadmill, elliptical or stationary bike, on the road or cross country
  • All are encouraged to pray for FCA and our nation as you run, bike or walk


A donation of any amount is welcome if you prefer not to run, walk or bike and just support FCA with a gift


Registration

$25 entry fee per person, each registrant will receive a 5K Challenge T-shirt


  • Register online by June 22nd in order to receive your race t-shirt by July 11th
  • Registrations will be accepted through 11:59 p.m., July 24th - you will receive a t-shirt
  • Local participants can pick up your t-shirt at the FCA Office beginning July 7th
  • T-shirts will be mailed to participants outside of East Volusia and Flagler counties beginning July 7th


Donations

  • Mobile giving – Text FCA5K20 to 55498
  • Mail a check payable to FCA to:  FCA, P.O. Box 731302, Ormond Beach, FL 32173
  • You choose the FCA missionary or area you would like your donation to go to


Prize Eligibility

In order to be eligible for the prizes listed below:
  • Funds raised must be given online by 11:59 p.m., July 29th or postmarked by July 29th and mailed to FCA, P.O. Box 731302, Ormond Beach, FL 32173
  • All team members to have listed the team captain’s name at the time of registration or notified FCA via email (vffca@fca.org) by 11:59 p.m., July 24th.


Prizes

First - $50, Second - $30 & Third - $20

Chick-fil-A or Angell & Phelps Chocolate Factory gift cards

  • The individual who has the most people registered on their team
  • The individual who raises the most money for FCA (donations from team members do not have to go to the same area or missionary)


Where do the funds go?

Participant can direct the funds they raise to one or more of the following:

  • Staff Missionary (Denise, Shye, Lyndsey or Kim)
  • Area-wide ministry (East Volusia or Flagler)
  • Camp Scholarships (East Volusia or Flagler)


Who can participate?

  • Everyone – coaches, athletes, donors, volunteers, board members, staff, family members, huddle coaches, strangers you meet
  • Do they have to live in Volusia or Flagler? No, they can live anywhere in the U.S. or another country
